TheDSE701AS is available in Automatic Startversions, offering an excellent range of engine monitoring and protectionfeatures.The module has been designed tomonitor low oil pressure, high enginetemperature, over speed and a user defined auxiliary input.It also has thecapability tomonitor battery charging by utilising theWL terminal on the chargealternator .When themodule detects a fault condition it automatically shuts downthe engine.The DSE701 module includes a remote start signal input. This inputallows the module to be started from a pre-defined remote location

Theengine over speed trip setting can be calibrated at the rear of the module for50Hz or 60Hz nominal operation (57Hz or 68Hz trip respectively).

Duringengine cranking and for the first 10 seconds after the engine starts running,all alarm conditions are suspended (overspeed is enabled) to allow the engine toreach its optimum running speed
